What early readers are saying

What will YOU say?

What a great review looks like

Already know what you'll say? Go for it. If you'd like a little help, here's the shape.

  • Lead with how it made you feel, not a plot summary.
  • Name one specific thing that stuck with you: a character, a moment, the dual POV.
  • Say who would love it ("for fans of...").
  • Be honest. A genuine caveat makes the praise more trustworthy.

Anatomy of a great review

"I picked this up for the dual POV and stayed for the sibling bond at its core."
Your hook
"The back half made me sob. Ugh, the choice Evelon made at the end broke me."
One specific thing
"If An Ember in the Ashes or Shadow and Bone live on your shelf, this belongs there too."
Who it's for
"It took me a few chapters to settle in, but I'm so glad I stayed."
An honest caveat

Write it in your own words. This is an example of the shape, not a script. Identical copy-pasted reviews can get flagged and removed, so let it sound like you.

Thank you. My wife and I read every single review. Each one brings tears to our eyes. We are so grateful for everyone who takes the time to share their honest thoughts.
