The First Stone
Leave a Review
Reviews are how readers decide to take a chance on a book they've never heard of. A few honest words from you can change everything.
If you got a free advance copy, the FTC asks you to mention it. Just add a line like:
"I received a free advance copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review."Reviews are independent and don't count toward giveaway entries.

What early readers are saying
What will YOU say?
So fun and thoroughly impressive. It's so well written and imaginative. I'm so proud of you guys.
I have never had a reading experience that makes me feel so immersed.
Honestly this feels like a Mad Max version of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is awesome. The magic system is understood with just the little the reader knows, but there's so much more to learn.
I was pulled into it the second I started, and already had vividly imagined the world in my head. Makes me extra excited to read the full book.
I thoroughly enjoyed your first three chapters and was left wanting more. The writing is sharp and carries you through, and the world building is drip-fed at a good rate.
Never have I been so invested in something. I love everything you're making and sharing with us.
*Some early readers received advance copies through our ARC program or giveaways.
What a great review looks like
Already know what you'll say? Go for it. If you'd like a little help, here's the shape.
- ✓Lead with how it made you feel, not a plot summary.
- ✓Name one specific thing that stuck with you: a character, a moment, the dual POV.
- ✓Say who would love it ("for fans of...").
- ✓Be honest. A genuine caveat makes the praise more trustworthy.
Anatomy of a great review
Write it in your own words. This is an example of the shape, not a script. Identical copy-pasted reviews can get flagged and removed, so let it sound like you.
Thank you. My wife and I read every single review. Each one brings tears to our eyes. We are so grateful for everyone who takes the time to share their honest thoughts.
